Now folks, I’m not the biggest fan of cosplay, that said if people wanna dress up like Cloud and pretend to fight that…villain that Cloud fought…I will not stop them.
However, shouldn’t Comic-Con be for comic related folk? Oh, well, Twilight stokes out a seat every year so I guess vidya games aren’t so bad. SO, where is this news going? Well Hideo Kojima will be judging YOUR cosplay achievements at Comic-Con.
I’ll let Kotaku explain:
The man responsible for inflicting Metal Gear and Metal Gear Solid on the world is going to the San Diego Comic-Con next week. Better still he’ll be judging your attempts at cosplay during the event.
Hideo Kojima will be heading to San Diego, California next week, signing whatever you put in front of him and offering his opinion on just how good your Solid Snake, Raiden and Johnny Sasaki costume is. Oh, I’m sure you could show up as a sexy or chubby Jehuty from Zone of the Enders, preferably with extra attention paid to the codpiece, and impress Mr. Kojima.
To do so, make your way to the San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina—adjacent to the San Diego Convention Center—on July 23 between 11 am and 3 pm.
Aaaaaaaand there you go.

His ego needs a refill.
Wasn’t it enough with all those fags who continued to scream the words “I LOVE YOU” in the PW Tour?
I would go cosplaying as Kojima… he’d be like “IS THAT ME????????”
So who wants to dress up in orange and tell him that you’re Lt. Solid Snake?
I’ll dress up as Tony Redwood, call him a traitor and blow his head off.
I’ll only go… if Shinkawa is there… because I already have Kojima’s signature.
[...] Kojima hosted a cosplay contest during last year’s San Diego Comic-Con and I guess Konami liked the idea enough to steal it and host their own this year on July 23. More [...]
